    • Depart from Taipei towards Shifen waterfall by train (1.5 hour).

    • Walk for an hour to discover the broadest waterfall in Taiwan, recessed within a beautiful forested mountainside setting, 20 metres (66 ft) in height and 40 metres (130 ft) in width. On a sunny day, there is a possibility of catching the view of a rainbow by the waterfall.

    • Another 15-20 minute walk from waterfall leads to the Shifen Old Street.

    • Get a rich understanding of its coal mining history.

    • Take photos by the Pingxi railway branch line, which was built in 1918 to transport coal.

    • Get ready for the Sky Lantern Festival that is annually held here, and is increasingly getting recognized globally as a key international folklore event.

    • Write wishes on the sky lantern before lighting up a candle at its base and releasing it.

    • Photograph the moment as it takes flight.

    • Return to Taipei.
