After the meeting we are supposed to start our tour with Blue Mosque. 4-hundred years old masterpiece from the Ottoman Period is one of the imperial mosques in the city. It is also known as Sultanahmet Mosque as it was built by the order of Ottoman Sultan Ahmet I.
Second stop is Hippodrome of Constantinople. We try to imagine the scenery of chariot races, try to uderstand the monuments; Obelisk of Theodosius which is also known as Egyptian Obelisk, Serpentine Column and the Column of Constantine.
We discover Holy Mosque of Hagia Sophia the Grand, and formerly the Church of Hagia Sophia, a Late Antique place of worship in Istanbul, designed by Anatolian geometers Isidore of Miletus and Anthemius of Tralles. Almost 15-hundred years old masterpiece.
Head to the Grand Bazaar, a labyrinth of streets and passages with more than 4,000 shops, with each trade having its own area.
We explore the Topkapi Museum, once upon a time it was the residence and administratice headquarters of the Ottoman Sultans.
