Itinerary

1. Day 1 - Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

   • The Ugandan guide will pick you up at 7:30 am from Kampala, beginning with a drive northwest to Murchison Falls National Park. The journey takes 6-7 hours to the mighty Murchison Falls National Park. 
   • On your way to Murchison Falls, you will be able to visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola for the game walking safari with an experienced ranger. Uganda used to have a wide range of Rhinos in the 1960s, but the poaching during Amin’s era resulted in the disappearance of these beautiful animals. 
   • After Rhino tracking, you will have lunch and proceed to the mighty Murchison Falls National park.
   • Reach in the evening for a rest at the lodge and prepare for an early morning game drive on the next day.

   Dinner and overnight.

2. Day 2 - Murchison Falls National Park

   • With your packed breakfast, you will go for a morning game drive with your guide, which will help you spot large numbers of wildlife found in the Park. You will be able to spot many African animal wildlife, for example, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, leopards, different species of antelope and many tropical birds. 
   • After, you will drive back to the hotel for lunch. 
   • After lunch, you take a trip to the waterfall. 
   • On your way to the waterfall, you can hike for 45 minutes to visit the top of the falls. This is an experience that brings all the senses into play: watch waves of white water tumble hypnotically through this six-meter chasm, listen to the roar, taste the spray on your face and feel the rock shake beneath your feet.
   • Afterwards, you will go for a rest at the lodge in the evening.

   Dinner and overnight.

3. Day 3 - Optional Game drive and Drive back to Kampala

   • After breakfast, you proceed for an optional short morning game drive as you depart from Murchison Falls. The guide will help you spot wildlife found in the park. You will be able to spot many African animal wildlife, for example, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, leopards, different species of antelope and many tropical birds. 
   • You will have your lunch en-route as you drive back to Kampala. The journey will take 6 hours, and our driver will drop you at your lodge or the airport.
