Day 1 - Matmata Sightseeing & Camping in Zmela expand_more
6:00 AM: Meet your tour guide and depart to Matmata, a small Berber speaking town.
11:00 AM: Arrive in Matmata followed by visiting traditional underground 'troglodyte' structures, which is home to local Berber residents.
1:00 PM: Have a delicious lunch break.
2:00 PM: Visit Ksar Ghilane, the place of endless sand dunes, which is sometimes referred to as the Door to Sahara.
4:00 PM: Proceed to the shimmering mirage, Ksar Ghilane oasis and begin your exploration of sand dunes on a camel and quad.
6:00 PM: Depart for Zmela to spend a night there and learn to prepare bread upon arrival.
7:00 PM: Head to the camp in Zmela and retire to bed.

Day 2 - Arrival & Sightseeing in Kairouan expand_more
8:00 AM: Begin your early morning journey to the coast of a gulf.
11: 00 AM: Visit the third Roman Amphitheatre in the world upon arrival in El Jemand (El Djem) and take a short break.
1:00 PM: Begin your journey to the splendid Kairouan, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
2:00 PM: Arrive in Kairouan and have a scrumptious lunch.

Local souks to shop for beautiful souvenirs.
Bir Barrouta, which is one of the oldest wells of Kairouan, connected to the holy well of Mecca, Bir Zemzem.
Mosque of Uqba, one of the oldest places to worship in the Islamic world.
Aghlabite hydraulic system; double reservoirs constructed by a prince of the Aghlabid dynasty in the 9th-century. It provided water to the town for more than a millennium.
5:00 PM: Depart to Tunis.
