    • Meet the tour guide, and begin your visit to the Medina by the European side of the city, admiring its eastern gate, the sea gate or the" french door." In the place called "marines place", we will notice some buildings that were consolates, such as Portuguese, English and Swedish ones.
    • Walk for less than one minute, and enter the Medina by its main street named Rue Jemaa Ezzitouna, which leads effectively to the great mosque of Tunis, the second in all of North Africa after that of Kairouan.
