On this tour, you will visit the places of interest in Turkmenistan. Like the Darvaza gas crater, which is also called "The Door to Hell". The area is rich in natural gas. Also, admire the Turkmenbashy Ruhy Mosque, which is a mosque in the village of Gypjak, Turkmenistan. It is located about 7 kilometres west of the Ashgabat city centre, on the M37 highway and is the largest mosque in Central Asia. Then, explore Ashgabat. In 2013 the Guinness Book of Records named Ashgabat “white marbled city” – here you can see the largest number of structures in the world made out of white marble.

Day 1: Shabat-Koneurgench-Darvaza expand_more
- Our representative will meet you at the Turkmen/Uzbek border “Shavat” and take you to Kunya Urgench (1.5h).
- Go for a sightseeing tour in Kunya Urgench; visit Portal Of Caravansaray, Mamun Minaret, Ii Arslan Mausoleum, Sultan Tekesh Mausoleum, Academy Of Horezm, Kutlug Timur Minaret, Turabek Hanum Mausoleum.
- Afternoon drive to Darvaza gas crater (3.5 h) The Crater is also called "The Door to Hell".
Dinner: Barbeque and stay overnight near the Gas Crater.

Day 2: Darvaza - Ashgabat City expand_more
- After having breakfast at the yurt camp, we will go to Ashgabat, which takes about 3.5 hours.
- En-route we will cross the Karakum desert and stop in a small desert village Erbent.
- On reaching Ashgabat you can rest for the day or explore the city.
Stay overnight in a hotel in Ashgabat.

Day 3: Ashgabat Tour expand_more
- After having breakfast at the hotel, drive to visit the National Museum (closed on Tuesdays, we can change Carpet Museum), Nissa fortress - the Sanctuary of Parthian Kings. UNESCO declared fortress a World Heritage Site in 2007. Nissa described as one of the first capitals of the Parthians. It was founded by Arsaces I (reigned c. 250 BC – 211BC), and reputedly the royal necropolis of the Parthian Kings, although it has neither been established that the fortress at Nissa was a royal residence or a mausoleum.
- From there, drive to visit Turkmenbashy Ruhy Mosque in Kipchak (the largest mosque in Central Asia).
- Continue the tour to visit Horse hippodrome to see a national proud of Turkmen people - Akhalteke horses, the nicest horses in the world. 5000 years ago, Turkmens began to breed Akhalteke horses. The World’s unique breed was never mixed with other breeds. Such illustrious Emperors like Alexander the Great, Darius I desired to own Ahalteke horses. Per superstition, every sick person who touches an Ahalteke horse will get well soon.
- After that, have an Ashgabat city tour. You will see the Presidential Palace, Ruhyyet Palace, Wedding Palace, modern “Yildyz” Hotel, Ferries Wheel, Constitution Monument, Arch of Neutrality, Monument and park of Independence, Ertogrul Gazy Mosque, Ashgabat Sports and Housing facilities, the Earthquake and victims of WWII Monuments.
Stay overnight in the hotel in Ashgabat.

Day 4: Ashgabat - Mary - Merw - Farap expand_more
- Transfer to the domestic airport of Ashgabat for flight to Mary.
- Arrive in Mary and drive to Merv to explore ancient Merv – “Queen of the world” which was one of the most important capitals of Islam along with Baghdad, Cairo and Damascus. Sightseeing of ancient Merv includes Greater Kyz Gala & Lesser Kyz Gala (VI-VII), Complex of Askhabs (VIII-XIV), Erk Gala (VI BC), Gyaur Gala (IV BC), Hoja Yusup Hamadani complex, Sultan Sanjar mausoleum, Muhamed Ibn Zeid mausoleum.
- After sightseeing, drive to Turkmen-Uzbek border - Farap border (3h).
