Description
Rising 200 metres above sea level, Taormina is a small but charming town with an enchanting atmosphere that recommends itself to tourists. It is a typical Sicilian town rich in history and traditions, with narrow streets and buildings standing next to each other. Join me on this interactive online experience streamed live from the streets of Taormina, and together we will explore its pretty streets and uncover their many secrets.
On our virtual tour, we will visit the many ancient buildings and churches dating back to the 15th or 17th century that dot this town. We will also make our way to the imposing Greco-Roman theatre that was built by the Greeks in the 4th century BC but transformed by the Romans in the 2nd century BC. Here, we will also get to enjoy an incomparable view of Mount Etna and the Gulf of Naxos that stretches out below.

I live in Messina in north-eastern Sicily. I like travelling, and I love trekking from the bottom of the heart. I have a degree in Foreign Languages from the University of Messina. I speak English, French very well and Spanish fluently. I have been an experienced tour guide since 2000 and a tour leader since 2004. I take groups all around my wonderful island.
