Description

Take this live-streamed, interactive Online Experience with me to explore the stunning city of Trieste from the comfort of your own home.

We will start our walk from the Molo Audace to the Piazza dell'Unità d'Italia, the massive main square as I tell you about the heritage of the town. We will discuss how various historical empires and countries have culturally influenced the Trieste of today and learn about the impact of World War II on the city.

Marvel at the varied landmarks, from an ancient Roman theatre and intricate Greek Orthodox Church to beautifully designed fountains and the Grand Canal that was once a key point in international navigation. At the Piazza della Borsa I will tell you how the banking and insurance system has developed over the years, and what attracted the Jews to Trieste to create a sizeable community at the Jewish Ghetto.

Our interactive walk and talk will end in front of the historic coffee house Caffè degli Specchi directly on the Adriatic, to enjoy panoramic views as I entertain any last questions that you may have!
