Description

I will take you through one of the most beautiful ancient Silk Road cities and an important trading post of Uzbekistan - Khiva, and its ancient fortress Itchan-Kala which is the UNESCO world heritage site on this live-streamed online experience. See the amazing historical and architectural monuments of this ancient walled city.

We begin from Ata-Darvaza, the main and west gate of the fortress and then then see Mukhammad Amin Khan's Madrassa and its surprising minaret-Kalta Minar.

Next, visit the Kunya Art Fort, the royal palace with its beautifully tiled court-yards and panoramic views from its watchtower. After a short walk through the main street, we will get to the next wonder of the city - Juma Masjid - a Friday mosque from the 10th century with 213 intricately carved wooden columns. We will finish our tour at the tallest minaret of Islam Khudja.
