Local markets are always interesting, whether they are shooks, souks, Hong Kong night markets, street markets or even Venice beach, locals and tourists love them. When you shop at the market, you will see heaps of locals buying, especially fresh food, but also buying excellent quality Ozzie made clothing including the famous Ugg boots and croc Dundee type hats. Easy to carry home boomerangs and cute Koala souvenirs can also be bought along the way. When buying in huge quantity, some stallholders will welcome bargaining, but it's not the rule. Freshly ground coffee can be enjoyed while viewing the master roaster at work in his state of the art factory. 

Your Melbourne guide will collect you from the port, ship or hotel. Port collection will be done just outside the customs due to stringent security. Don't forget your ship's pass.
You will then travel to the first market, all the while enjoying an interesting talk about Melbourne and sightseeing along the way.
Your guide is known to divert along the schedule to take in additional scenes of interest. Further, you will visit at least 3 markets with unique and varying characteristics. Where you will feel refreshed even by the sight of fresh foods at one market, you can shop some Ozzie made clothing and souvenirs in the other. Next, you will be taken to the market that specializes in deli foods, where you can try tasty local food.
Enjoy coffee along the way at a factory shop where roasting takes place.
On completion of your tour, you will be dropped off at your ship or hotel. If you require extra time at a market, as many do, your guide will leave you there to get your own transport back.
