The birthplace of Picasso was built in 1861 and the man lived here until 1884. It was recognised as an official heritage site in 1983

The Museum has over 3,500 pieces of contemporary art by more than 200 artists like Miró, Christo, Bacon, Bross Ernst, and others. The place houses Picasso's graphic artworks; the library here serves as a research centre; while the house itself holds many memories and artefacts from the Picasso family.
