Description

Humboldt University in Berlin is one of the foremost research universities in Germany. From Albert Einstein who taught here to Karl Marx who studied here, some remarkable names in history have gone through the doors of Humboldt. This Online Experience will take you on a tour of the hallowed corridors of Humboldt and help you get a pulse of what student life could be here for you.

In the course of this tour, you will not only gain an idea of what the Humboldt University campus looks and feels like, but also what it is like to live and study in the city of Berlin. Focusing on the history of the surrounding buildings and areas, including the UNESCO world heritage site of Museum Island, we will delve into Berlin's past and present as it is for Humboldt students: where they go to enjoy some downtime, how their activities continue to shape the German capital, and much more.

Since the campus is close to where Berlin was first settled in the 13th century, we can also explore this historical district and learn how Berlin came to be the city it is today.
