The hill station is home to almost 300 species of birds, some common ones being the Silver-Eared Mesi, Long Tailed Sibia, Oriental Magpie Robin, Streaked Spider Hunter, Black-Throated Sunbird, Golden Babbler, Large Niltava, Fulvetta, Blue Nuthatch, and many more.
