The Old Medina of Chefchaouen is also called the Blue Medina as you will see most of its narrow streets painted in Blue and White, a feature that has made it popular the world over!

We will begin our live-streamed online experience from one of the main squares of the old Médina, known as Sahat El Haouta. Continue towards the Old school of fine local art, which was also the school where I had studied. Along the way, we will halt at a building built by the Spanish occupants; here I will show you one of the hammams (old bath) of Chefchaouen from outside.

I will then guide you through the Old bakery and another main square where you can catch a glimpse of the locals of Chefchaouen busy with their daily chores in their traditional outfits. We will also visit the Grand Mosque of the Kasbah  and an old fondouk ( a type of inn, or caravanserai, for travelling merchants close to the souk) to get a deeper insight into the Medina's typical architecture. End your walk at yet another square of the Medina, having walked through different hues of blue in its narrow alleys to observe local life in the old city.
