This tour takes you through the historical part of Shanghai. You will start from Family Qiao's Road, whose history goes all the way back to the time when the city was discovered. The area was considered to be the heart and soul of the city where the Temple of Medicine God and the first local government existed. You will still be able to see some of the century-old houses. Hear some interesting stories about Qiao Family, and a rich artist who befriended with Japanese but later on became a monk.

Take a stroll through the heavenly light lane, the very first street in the city to get street lights. The locals called it the light sent from heaven that guided people safely to their homes. You will also see the Grey Gardens, also called the Scheduled Library. These are the remains of a lavish garden that was constructed in the 16th Century by a famous scholar.
