Explore Grand Turk island, which is the largest island among the Turks and Caicos Islands. Registered as a British Overseas Territory consisting of larger Caicos Islands and smaller Turks Islands, these group of islands lie southeast of Mayaguana in the Bahamas Island chain. Enjoy views of coastal waters, beaches and the historic site of the Grand Turk Lighthouse (18 m) situated atop a limestone hill. Go for a drive along the historic Duke Street and stop at Front Street to visit the lovely Anglican Church built in 1899.
