Witness the salt harvesters on a jeep tour of the lake, explore the dunes and the beach along the former Dakar Rally's tracks. Visit the Tortoises Botanic Reserve to see a great diversity of tortoises!

    • Get picked-up at the agreed-upon location and  cross the Senegalese suburbs.
    • Before we arrive at Pink Lake, we will stop at a local market, and see the people doing their daily shopping. You will see them with the calabashes or basket doing their shopping, something distinctly Senegalese. Click portraits of the locals dressed in their African attires, and some scenes of their activities. 
    • Visit the Pink lake, ten times saltier than the Ocean and given to acquiring a pink hue when the weather is sunny and windy. On the spot, we will have a Jeep to tour around the lake to see the salt harvesters and drive on what used to be the: Dakar Rally's tracks; plus the dunes and the beach. You will have the opportunity to swim and float in the lake.
    • After lunch at Chez Salim hotel, head to Noflaye Tortoises Village, also known as the Botanic tortoises Reserve. Learn about them and the purpose of the Reserve -  to protect, and the reintroduce tortoises in areas they have a completely vanished!
    • Drop off to the hotel or any other location as preferred.
