  • Day 2- Akagera National Park expand_more

    • Head to Akagera National Park for a full day game drive with the Rwandan tour guide. 

    • Return to Kigali.  

  • Day 3- Nyungwe Forest National Park expand_more

    • See Kamegeri Rock, Nyanza King Palace and the National Ethnographic Museum in Huye on-route. 

    • Continue onwards to Nyungwe National Park.

    • Begin with an early morning chimpanzee tracking at the Nyungwe National Park.

    Overnight at the guest house/lodge/hotel in Nyungwe.

  • Day 5- Bwindi / MGahinga Gorilla National Park expand_more

    • Begin with an early morning drive to Bwindi/MGahinga Gorilla National Park for gorilla tracking.

    • Visit Napoleon Island in Karongi District and the Environmental Museum in Karongi.

    • Lunch will be at a local restaurant en-route. 

    Overnight at Buhoma Tented Lodge. 

  • Day 6- Bwindi Impenetrable Forest expand_more

    • Begin with an early breakfast and finish formalities at the park offices.

    • Embark for a once in a lifetime experience of tracking mountain gorillas in this impenetrable forest area. The trekking may take a whole day but it’s totally worth it.  

    Overnight stay at Buhoma Lodge. 

  • Day 7- Kigali International Airport expand_more

    • Head to Kigali International Airport after breakfast. 

    • Visit local markets, souvenir shops, etc. Go on evening excursions around Kigali en-route.
