Description

Embark on an exciting cycling journey to the marshes of Danube via the charming town of the Vojvodina province. Continue to the Pančevac bridge and down the Danube to reach the small town of Pančevo. Cross the marshlands filled with ducks, swans, herons, and other animals along the Danube.

    • Start your biking tour from the Serbian guide's garage in Cvijićeva 134. Here you will be given the bikes that you will use on tour. The guide will also provide some refreshments for the journey. 
    • Follow a bike path to the bridge on the Danube river, a bridge known by the name Pančevac. 
    • Once you cross the bridge, you will follow the dam down the Danube and all the way to the small town of Pančevo. This trip is actually going to be an off-road ride so prepare for a bumpy road. All the way to the Pančevo, you will actually be by the marshes of Danube. Here, you will see different birds that live in marshlands like swans, ducks, herons, and cormorants. Different amphibians and reptiles are also a common sight on this hidden road but don't be afraid, and they are not dangerous. Here you will have many opportunities to stop and make nice pictures or chill out by the water. 
    • In the town of Pančevo, you will enter through an old bridge that goes over the small river Tamiš. 
    • Make a stop for a meal; it can be either famous "burek with kolenica", which is a warm recommendation, or you can eat a regular Serbian "pljeskavica". 
    • Cycle around Pančevo, where the guide will show you its treasures, like old abandoned factories and its beautiful city core. 
    • After sightseeing of Pančevo, head back the same way you came, by the dam and back to the garage.
