    • Start the tour in Kalemegdan at the place where the Military museum is located. The museum had guns and weapons from the Roman period until the Nato bombing in 1999. It is a unique place where visitors can learn about the history of Belgrade. This is the place where Tito's Partisan movement took place during the Second World war. 

    • After an introduction to Belgrade, see the bunker that was built for the Yugoslavian military in the period when the relations between Tito and Stalin were tightened.

    • Take a sightseeing tour of White Palace, where Tito and later President Slobodan Milosevic lived; and is the former residence of Karadjordjevic dynasty.

  • Note: Kalemegdan is a pedestrian zone and walking area. 10-15 minutes of walking is required to get to the Military Museum and Bunker.

  • During Josip Broz Tito's governance, Yugoslavia had 6 countries: Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Montenegro, and Serbia; and autonomous regions: Kosovo, Metohija, and Vojvodina. Yugoslavia had the fourth-strongest military in Europe. Tito was a controversial person with an interesting private life. His funeral was one of the biggest in the 20th century.
