    • Pick up from Cluj Napoca airport and transfer to hotel.

    • En route, visit Botanical Garden and the city centre in Cluj Napoca, a walkable part of town where you can visit historical sites.

    • Go sightseeing in Cluj Napoca.

    • Visit Bârsana Monastery, Saint Nicholas Church in Budești Josani, Desesti, Ieud Deal, Plopis, Poienile Izei, Rogoz, Surdesti, and the beautiful village of Piatra Fantanele. Also, visit the wooden churches in Maramures, a group of almost one hundred Orthodox churches, and occasionally Greek-Catholic ones, of different architectural solutions from different periods and areas.

    • Enjoy a thorough trip to Brasov city post breakfast. Its fortified churches and other UNESCO monuments will leave you spellbound.

    • Visit the Black Church, which is over 500 years old, is Brasov's most representative historical monument and the greatest Gothic church in Transylvania.

    • Travel to Poiana Brasov, home to a ski resort of the same name, with trails on Postăvaru Mountain, plus an ice-skating rink, an indoor recreation center, and a sports complex with tubing and luging.

    • Overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 5: Sightseeing in Brasov expand_more

    • After breakfast, we start with a tour of major attractions in the city of Brasov. This includes visits to Rucar, Campulung, Curtea de Arges, Horezu, and Poenari Castle, all ancient historical sites.

    • Visit the famous Dracula's Castle, also known as Bran Castle, a Gothic fortress associated with the legend of Dracula.  

    • Overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 6: Corvin Castle - Salina Turda - Cluj Napoca expand_more

    • Visit the Corvin Castle, where Vlad the Impaler was jailed by the Hungarian King Matthias Corvinus. It is one of the largest castles in Europe and figures in lists of the Seven Wonders of Romania. 

    • Next, on the way to Cluj Napoca, visit the salt mine in Turda, the world’s most spectacular underground formation of salt mines shaped by humans.
