1944 Uprising Of Warsaw Highlights In 4 Hours
Description
Feel the nerve of 1944, when, with the tide of war turning and their resources and morale seemingly in disarray, the German forces had begun a strategic retreat from Warszawa. The Home Army (Poland’s wartime underground movement) launched a military strike to liberate the city from the occupation and install an independent government. The battle lasted 63 days and cost the lives of over 20,000 troops and some 15000 Civilians.
