Learn a bit of Polish history during this tour mixed with stories of the New Town and modern city growth. The UNESCO site of the Old Town is literally a must-see for its monuments! Apart from this, see modern architecture styles on old and new buildings. The Old Town is both a physical and symbolic expression of the city’s spirit and determination to come back from the brink of annihilation at the end of World War II. In addition to a number of palaces, Lazienki Park contains the Chopin Monument, where the annual Chopin recitals are held each summer.
