4 Hours Cycling tour itinerary for Manila: Bicycle Tour
A Dutch inspired organization would be incomplete without a Bicycle tour! Explore the city as it wakes up or experience the everyday life of Filipinos through the chaotic streets of Manila in the afternoon. Enjoy the smiles and curiosity of the kids in the poorer areas of Gotamco.
Cycle around Manila
Intramuros: Visit San Agustin Church and Fort Santiago and soak up the atmosphere of the Walled City, the oldest district and historic center of Manila.
Rizal Park: Ride through the Philippine National Park dotted with important historical relics such as the Rizal Monument and Quirino Grandstand.
Cultural Center of the Philippines: Stop for a moment and see the famous center of culture, arts, performance and exhibitions.
Manila Bay: Cycle down Roxas Boulevard and enjoy the sea breeze and bay views.
Residential Areas: Cycle through the narrow alley of Gotamco - one of the more underprivileged areas but full of energy and life.
Bicycles are provided and helmets on request.

If desired, please bring your own hat, sunblock/sunscreen, extra shirt and face towel.
We start the tour with a briefing about safety concerns and how the tour should proceed. We avoid the major roads and use the inner streets whenever possible. Please remain on the right side of the road and follow your tour leader’s instructions to avoid accidents. The tourleader will bring helmets. You will learn how to cross the busy streets.

LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY: The tour is easy riding; the terrain is flat, we go at a slow pace and we stop regularly to see the sights on the tour and to listen to the tourleader.
There are paid toilets that can be used in the surrounding area.
CAMERA POLICYYou are allowed to take photos on this tour. Please note that photos are not allowed to be taken when passing by the American Embassy.
MEETING POINT: "Coffee & Bicycles". Where you can grab a freshly brewed coffee or soft drink before or after your tour a beer or another refreshment. Perhaps not the easiest to find, but we support the local entrepreneur: "Miss Auring".
