Drive from Cusco to Capuliyoq and embark on an exciting trek to the historical Archaeological Complex of Choquequirao. Pass through beautiful snow-capped peaks and reach Rosalinda Beach before heading to Marampata. Next, explore the highlights of the Archaeological Site of Choquequirao and learn the importance of this lost city of Incas. Also, take baths in the Apurímac river and the hot springs of Cono.

  • Day 1: Cusco - Capuliyoc - Rosalinda Beach. expand_more
    • At 4:30 am, our guide will pick you up from the hotel, and in our private mobility, we will travel to Capuliyoq, located at 2850 masl (9407 ft). 
    • From here, we will pack and start our walk with our riders and horses. You should only carry a small backpack with the essentials for the road.
    • Throughout the journey, we will be able to enjoy beautiful and picturesque landscapes surrounded by mountains, snow-capped peaks, and farm fields. From here, we will see the snowy Padreyoc at 5571 meters above sea level.
    • From Capuliyoc, we will begin the descent to Chikisca, where lunch awaits us. 
    • In the afternoon, we will continue to Playa Rosalinda at 2061 masl (18387 ft), where we can set up our first camp. And then enjoy a delicious dinner.
  • Day 2: Rosalinda Beach - Maranpata - Choquequirao expand_more
    • We will have breakfast in the dawn and then start our walk of approximately 4 hours to Marampata, where a delicious lunch awaits us. Enjoy a beautiful view of Choquequirao
    • After lunch, about 20 minutes away, our second camp is located very close to the Choquequirao Archaeological Center.
  • Day 3: Choquequirao expand_more
    • After breakfast, together with our guide, we will visit the Archaeological Site of Choquequirao, known as the sister of Machu Picchu, for the whole day. Choquequirao is three times bigger than Machu Picchu and is the other lost city of the Incas, discovered in the 20th century. It is located 1750 meters above the Apurimac river, surrounded by snow-capped mountains like Salkantay and Nevado Humantay.
    • After the tour, we will return to our camp, where lunch and drinks await us.
  • Day 4: Choquequirao - San Ignacio - Villa De Loros expand_more
    • After breakfast, we will start downhill until we reach the Apurímac river, then the next destination San Ignacio, where we’ll have lunch and enjoy beautiful landscapes. 
    • Then we will continue uphill to Villa Maria de Los Lobos, where we’ll install our camp.
  • Day 5: Villa De Loros - Saywite - Cusco expand_more
    • After Breakfast, we will leave for the archaeological center of Saywite.
    • Continue to the hot springs of Cono and relax the body with its thermal medicinal waters.
    • After lunch in Cono, we will start the return trip to the city of Cusco and drop off at the hotel.
