  • Day 1: Muscat to Sur (8 hours) expand_more
    • From Muscat, stop over at Hawaiyat Najm (known to foreigners as the Sinkhole, the Bimmah Sink Hole or the Dabab Sinkhole), a large hole in the Earth's crust filled with some freshwater.
    • Continue to Wadi Shab and Wadi Tiwi, two of Oman’s most scenic wadis.
    • Continue driving towards Sur, the historic centre of Oman’s famous ship-building industry, and still one of the prettiest towns in the south.

    Overnight at Sur Plaza Hotel or similar.

  • Day 2: Sur-Desert (8 hours) expand_more

    • In the morning, leave your hotel and head towards Wadi Bani Khalid for swimming and relaxing in a beautiful atmosphere.

    • In the afternoon, drive to visit the most beautiful desert in Oman, where you will enjoy the sunset among the dunes.

    Overnight at Arabian Oryx Camp or similar.

  • Day 3: Nizwa-Desert (8 hours) expand_more
    • In the morning, head to the historic city of Nizwa; visit the Souq and fort. 
    • In the afternoon, drive to Barkat Al Mwaz Oasis.

    Overnight at Al Dayar Hotel Nizwa or similar.

  • Day 4: Jabreen to Bahla to Misfah to Jabal Shams (8 hours) expand_more
    • This morning, drive to Jabreen castle.
    • After this visit, drive via the old city in Oman, Bahla, to Misfah old village.
    • In the afternoon, drive to Jabal Shams for overnight.
    • On the way, you will see the Grand Canyon in Oman (3009 meters above sea level)

    Overnight at Jabal Shams Resort or similar.

  • Day 5: Jabal Shams to Muscat (8 hours) expand_more
    • This morning, do a little hiking in the mountain. 
    • After that, drive towards Al Hamra for a photo stop at the beautiful Oasis and abandoned village that is around 400 years old.
    • After this short stop, continue crossing the Hajar mountain through Wadi Bani Awaf, the Snake Canyon.
    • At the end of this trip, your guide will drop you off at your hotel.
