Description

Travel to Wadi Shab, a huge canyon gorge, from Muscat. On your way, stop at Bimmah sinkhole to take beautiful pictures or swim in the lake. Make your way through the Fins Beach before arriving at Wadi Shab for a trek through the canyon to see a clear water pool. Walk through the canyon's cave to be blessed with a small waterfall.

    • The Wadi Shab is a huge canyon gorge that has its paradise. Filled with palm trees and other greenery, the mountain truly has character. We leave Muscat in the morning and make our way to the wadi. 
    • We make a short stop at the Bimmah sinkhole, most likely to take photos or swim in the lake. 
    • We make our way through Fins Beach, a long white-sand beach photo stop, and then arrive at Wadi Shab. 
    • After an hour's trek through the canyon, you will see a clear water pool. The water is crystal clear, and it is amazing to swim through. 
    • Moving forward, we end up at the last pool, where we make our way through the canyon's cave. It is fitting through crevices and openings till we are blessed with a small waterfall that breaks into an excellent blue colour. It is paradise. 
    • After some exploring and a rest, we head back to Muscat.

  • Wadi Shab entrance is quite easy! Wadi Shab is about 1.5 hours from Muscat and 40 minutes from the town of Sur.
