  • Day 1: Arrival at Kathmandu expand_more
    • Meet the tour guide at Tribhuvan International airport in Kathmandu. This airport has been named after the late king Tribhuvan, the current king's grandfather who was deposed in 2008 A.D. The guide will assist you in transferring to the hotel in Kathmandu.

    Check-in at the hotel and rest for the day.

  • Day 2: City tour of Bhaktapur expand_more
    • 09:00 am: Pick up from your hotel and drive to Bhaktapur.

    • Visit Durbar Square, Pottery Square, Taumadhi Square and Dattatraya Square in Bhaktapur.

    • Lunch at a famed restaurant in Bhaktapur

    • Drive to Nagarkot to see the sunset.

  • Day 3: Pashupatinath and Boudhanath expand_more
    • Enjoy a beautiful view of the sunrise over the mountains. A short early morning hike could be arranged. 
    • Have breakfast and drive back to Kathmandu.

    • En route, visit Pashupatinath - Nepal's most sacred Hindu temple for Lord Shiva, situated on the banks of the holy Bagmati river. You can also see cremation pyres and rituals on the riverbank here.

    • You may take pictures with Sadhus (holy men) by offering small tips. You will find many of them around the Pashupatinath area.

    • Drive to Boudhanath - Nepal's largest Buddhist Stupa, where you can see Tibetans paying homage to Lord Buddha. The Tibetans came to Nepal in 1959 as refugees when China took over Tibet.

    • Taste a Nepali lunch, Dal-Bhat, in one of the local restaurants in Kathmandu.

  • Day 4: Drive to Pokhara expand_more
    • 8:30 am: Drive to Pokhara (7 hrs).

    • Have lunch at one of the roadside restaurants.

    • See the Trishuli River from one of the many suspension bridges along the Kathmandu-Pokhara highway. It is a beautiful countryside drive through the mountainous road, all the way to Pokhara.

    • Upon reaching Pokhara, take a rest or walk around the lakeside.

  • Day 5: Sarangkot Sunrise and Peace Stupa expand_more
    • Early in the morning, drive to Sarangkot and witness the sunrise over the mountains.

    • Drive back to the hotel for breakfast.

    • After breakfast, drive to Peace Stupa, overlooking the beautiful Pokhara Valley. Also, visit Devi's fall on the way.

    • Make a short hike (30 minutes), all the way down from the Stupa to Fewa Lake.

    • Take a boat ride to cross the lake. 

    • Paragliding or ultralight flight in the late afternoon. (optional)

    Overnight at the hotel.

  • Day 6: Drive back to Kathmandu expand_more
    • After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu.
    • Have lunch at one of the roadside restaurants.
    • Check into a hotel in Kathmandu and rest for the day.
    • In the evening, enjoy a traditional Nepali dinner with a cultural show in one of the authentic restaurants.

  • Day 7: Departure expand_more
    • Spend the day at leisure until your departure time.

    • Transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport and catch your flight for onward journey.
