Everest Base Camp-South-Nepal
Head for a sightseeing of the Nepalese capital and see the World Heritage Sights. Fly over the Himalayan mountains to one of the highest airstrips in the world. Hike along a legendary trail passing through villages, forests and rivers. See the sunrise over the mountain peaks and visit the memorial dedicated to the hikers.
DAY 01
Arrival Kathmandu
After arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, meet the Kathmandu tour guide and transfer to the hotel.
Spend the day walking around and seeing the local sights as there will be no organised activities
Attend a pre-departure meeting which will be held early evening and you will be introduced with your trekking guide.

DAY 02

After having breakfast, start a guided sightseeing tour of the major historical and religious sites in Kathmandu; some of these landmarks are World Heritage Sites that include the historic Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, the famous 'Monkey Temple' (Swayambhunath) and Buddhists shrine (Buddha Nath), one of the largest Stupas in the world.

DAY 03
fly to lukla and trek to phakdin
After having breakfast early morning, head to the domestic airport for a flight to Lukla.
Take off for Lukla on a 35 min flight watching the scenic mountains.
After a cup of tea at local lodge in Lukla, tread on the legendary “Everest Highway” which heads downwards through the alpine valley following the “Dudh Kosi” or milk river (named after its milky colour from glacial silt).
Arrive at Phakding after 3 hours of walking and the first day of trekking.

DAY 04

Walk uphill through the alpine valleys and cross the Dudh Kosi River a few times before reaching Namche Bazaar, the Sherpa capital of the Khumbu region. On a clear day, you get panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Thamserku, Kusum Kanguru, Kwangde and Taweche on the way to Namche Bazaar

DAY 05
acclimatization day at namche and hike to everest view point hotel
Spend the day in acclimatization in Namche Bazaar, something everyone should do in their Everest region trekking.

DAY 06
trek to dibuche
After crossing the river, climb up a zigzag path through a rhododendron forest where you may encounter both musk deer and wild colourful peacocks. There is a steep descent taking you through a forest towards the bridge over the Dudh Kosi. The climb goes steep as you approach Tyangboche, which opens up to breathtaking views of Everest, Nuptse, Ama Dablam and Taboche. Tyangboche, famous for its legendary monastery, is the largest in the Khumbu area.
Visit both the monastery and the museum and later, continue the trek to Debuche.

DAY 07

Trek from Deboche to Dingboche through some pretty nice shady forest trails, full of Birches, Conifers, and Rhododendrons. The trail continues along the ridge on the true right side all the way to Dingboche while Ama Dablam's thumb like visage dominates the trail most of the time. Dingboche is another rest area to acclimatize in higher altitude.

DAY 08
hike day to nagarjuna hill and back to same hotel
After having breakfast, start hiking to the Nagarjun Hill (4750m) along the trail that looks steep, which is about 3-4 miles and takes nearly 3-4 hours.
Head north-west to see mountains including Mt. Makalu (8481m) and many more on the way back to the lodge.
After having lunch, head to a bakery around Dingboche and relax.

DAY 09
trek to lobuche
Hike on the trail which ascends a bit up to the Chorten above Dingboche and then gradually ascends to northwest Khumbu valley until reaching Duglha.
From Duglha, walk on the trail which is steeply uphill and reach the memorial of people who died while climbing Everest. The trail from this point drops a bit and follows the western side of the valley to Lobuche.

DAY 10

From Lobuche, trek to Gorak Shep following the Khumbu Glacier and after exploring the place hike to Everest Base Camp.
Get the spectacular views of the Khumbu icefall and the route to the South Col.
Return to Gorakshep for overnight stay retracing back your previous trail.

DAY 11
hike to kalapatthar and back to pheriche for overnight
Hike to Kala Patthar at dawn to view the sunrise on Mt. Everest and other peaks with your Everest hiking guide. Kala Patthar is a famous viewpoint, gives a splendid panoramic view of Mt. Everest and other peaks. There will be prayer flags hung along the way as you climb the rocky trails.
After spending a while in the viewpoint, trek back to Gorak Shep for breakfast and rest for a while.
Continue the trek to Pheriche, a small beautiful village. The trail to Pheriche has forests and meadows along the way.
DAY 12
trek to namche bazar
Descend through the hillside filled with rhododendron and juniper trees and cross a bridge over the Dudh Koshi River. As you are heading back, you can click pictures and enjoy the view of the top of Everest and backside of Lhotse.
After finally arriving at Namche Bazaar, head to your lodge and rest.
DAY 13
trek to lukla
Arrive at Lukla on the final day of the trek. This 7 to 8-hour trek takes you through the villages of Jorsale, Monjo, Phakding, Ghat, Thado Koshi, and Cheplung.
After arriving in Lukla, spend some time to relax and celebrate the completion of the trek.
DAY 14
fly back to kathmandu
Transfer to the Lukla airstrip in the morning for your flight back to Kathmandu. The 35-minute flight to Kathmandu usually leaves early from Lukla but this depends on the weather.
DAY 15
finale day/ departure day
Transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your flight back home.
