12 Days Nature tour itinerary for Ghorepani: Tackle The Annapurna Base Camp
Undertake the Annapurna Base Camp Trek via Ghandruk. It is the customized trekking route to ABC. On this trek, you reach the base camp at 4,130m above sea level where you can spend some time, exploring around Annapurna and Machhapuchhre Base Camp, ringed by huge glaciers and overshadowed by the magnificent Annapurna mountain range.
Arrive at the Tribhuvan International Airport where you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. This day is simply an arrival day and there will be no organized activities.
So, you will have some free time to relax or walk around for local sights.
A pre-departure meeting will be held early evening and you will be introduced with your trekking guide.
Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.
Today after breakfast, start guided sightseeing to major historical and religious sites in Kathmandu with your Kathamndu tour guide. Some of these landmarks are considered World Heritage Sites that include the historic Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, the famous 'Monkey Temple' (Swayambhunath) and Buddhists shrine (Boudhanath) which is one of the largest Stupas in the world.

kathmandu to pokhara
On this day, a tourist standard bus/car/van/jeep will transfer you to Pokhara, the Lake City of Nepal. It is the starting point of treks in Annapurna region, like, Ghorepani Poon-Hill Trek, Annapurna Base Camp Trek, Ghandruk Village Trek, Khopra Dada Trek, Mardi Himal Trek etc.
If time permits, an evening walk to exploring Lake Side or Market surrounding there.
pokhara to Ghandruk
Start to drive to Nayapul by private coach (car /jeep/van as per group size ) which is 30 miles distance from Pokhara.
Arrive in Nayapul then potter will fixing your bag. It is the starting points of your trekking. Distance from Nayapul to Ghandruk is around 9 miles which take 5-6 hrs. The trail from Nayapul to Shyauli Bazzar is off the roadway.
Then you will have your lunch at Shyuli Bazaar.
After lunch, hike up to Ghardruk, the trail is climbing stone stairs.
Stay overnight at nice lodge in Ghandruk.
Ghandruk to Sinwa
On this day, your destination is Sinwa.
After leaving beautiful Ghandruk village, start to climb until Kimrong Danda.
Then two hours gradually descend takes to the bottom of the river. There was a suspense bridge cross to another side of the river.
Climb uphill towards Chhomrong with your Nepali trekking guide.
After descending the Chhomrong village, you cross another bridge.
After crossing the bridge, another hike take you to Sinwa.
Sinwa to Deurali
Today you are heading Deurali,
After having breakfast, start to climb to upper Sinuwa which takes an hour.
Then descend to Bamboo.
After Bamboo, walk some bamboo forest till Dovan, the place providing lunch.
Once you have finished your lunch, again you start to climb towards Himalaya.
Then another 2 hrs takes you to the lodge at Deurali. Overall this day, you need to walk almost 6-7 hrs.
Stay at Deurali.
Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp
Annapurna Base Camp which is called ABC is your destination for today and for our trek as well.
After having a nice breakfast at Deurali, start to your hike towards MBC; it's also known as Fishtail Base [sensitive content]winter it's all covered by snow.On this time, the trail is a bit slippery.
After two hours of hiking, get in MBC and then you might stop for some tea/coffee.
Another two hours gently uphill take to your destination.There are five lodges at the Base Camp.
Walk around base camp for the stunning view of Annapurna range.
Stay overnight at lodge.
Annapurna Base Camp to Sinuwa
Early morning, wake up for sunrise view with a background of massive mountains including Annapurna First (8091m) Annapurna II, Annapurna South, Fishtail and many others which is in Annapurna Range.
After having your breakfast, retrace the same trail that drops all the way down through Bagar, Deurali, Himalaya and Dobhan to Bamboo. When you are in Bamboo, see how you feel and what's the time. If you guys want to continue trek to Sinuwa which takes another two hours uphill.
Sinuwa to Jhinu
Today, your destinations is Jhinu.
After half an hour downhill, the small bridge takes you Chhomrong village.
Hike an hour from bottom to the top of Chhomrong village then you can have your lunch.
After lunch, the trail towards Jhinu Danda is a step stone stairs downhill which takes another an hour.
Then check into the lodge, leave your baggage there.
Ready for another short trek for Natural Hot Spring.
Enjoy for hot spring and you relax; your tired muscles by taking a deep bath.
Spend the night at lodge of Jhinu.
jhinu to Pokhara
In this day before breakfast, if you want to go once again to Hot Spring, you can have time to go there and back to the hotel for breakfast.
After breakfast, start your trek towards Pokhara.
After 10 minutes downhill, cross the long bridge and downhill trek to Newbridge.
After Newbridge, the trail is gradually up and down till Syauli Bazaar.
From Syauli Bazaar onwards, the trail is flat up till Nayapul.
Following this flat trail, walk up to Birethanti, where your guides will complete the necessary check out formalities, and where the coach is waiting for to drive to Pokhara.
Transfer you to the hotel.
Free and relaxing evening.
Stay overnight at the hotel which is lakeside.
Pokhara to Kathmandu
Drive back to Kathmandu from Pokhara by tourist bus/car/van.
Transfer to Hotel, rest and refresh.
In the evening, you have a short meeting with Office Team to say goodbye.
finale day/ departure day
If your flight is in the early morning, drop you to the International airport to catch your flight back to your home.
If your flight is late in the evening, you can go for some shopping or you can re-laxly rest at your hotel. But if you have more days in Nepal, the guides will arrange some more adventures for you and accommodations too. Anyway, the guides will drop you to the airport for your final departure.
