  • Day 1- Arrival in Kathmandu expand_more
    • Land at the airport, meet your English-speaking Nepali tour guide to pick you up and further explain the programs regarding the trip. 

    • Transfer to the hotel.

  • Day 2- Kathmandu - Lukla - Phakding expand_more
    • Board a beautiful morning flight to Lukla shall be taken on this day.

    • Then, begin your trek with an easy walk passing through the village of Chaurikharka and walking down towards Dudh Koshi Ghat, lying at the altitude of 2,530 m.

    • Trek along the shore of Dudh Koshi River, reach Phakding, where you shall stay overnight at the Guesthouse with breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

  • Day 3- Phakding - Namche Bazaar expand_more
    • Climb for some time and get the first glimpse of Everest if the weather is clear.

    • Ascending further, you will reach Namche Bazaar, a flourishing Sherpa village and an administrative hub of the Khumbu region.

    Stay overnight at a guesthouse with breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

  • Day 4- Namche Bazaar - Everest View Hotel - Namche expand_more
    • At Namche Bazaar, you will rest to acclimatize and avoid altitude sickness. It is also recommended to experience a short hike on this day to help adjust your body to the raised elevation. You will, therefore, climb to Everest View Hotel, which presents magnificent views of Mount Everest, Mount Ama Dablam and more of the surrounding peaks.

    • Walk to the Khunde and Khumjung villages located beneath Khumbila, the rock-strewn mountain considered holy by all Sherpa people. In Khunde, you can make a trip to the Edmund Hillary hospital and visit the monastery in Khumjung.

    • Trek back to Namche.

  • Day 5- Namche - Tengboche expand_more
    • Move ahead from Namche Bazaar and continue walking all along the rushing glacial waters of the Dudh Koshi. On the way to Sanasa, you will pass by the ethereal rhododendron forests. You may also see faunas like the multi-coloured pheasants, musk deer, and the Himalayan Thar.

    • From Sanasa, walk vertically up to get to the famous Tengboche monastery. Tengboche is the largest monastery in the Khumbu region which presents the magnificent peak views of Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Ama Dablam and The Thamserku.

  • Day 6- Tengboche - Dingboche expand_more
    • On this day, trek for around 5 hours to get to Dingboche. Your trek begins with an adjacent route with the rhododendron forest from Tengboche to Debuche. You will also traverse over the raging Imja River through a suspension bridge.

    • Pass by Pangboche village, the biggest village occupied by Sherpa people in the region. Here you can walk to the Pangboche monastery, an ancient monastery.

  • Day 7- Dingboche - Nagerjun expand_more
    • Have another acclimatization day in Dingboche on this day.

    • To get accustomed to the high altitude, you will also have a short hike to Nagerjun set at the height of 5100 m just above Dingboche. You will have a pretty demanding day as the path is steeper. It takes around 5 hours to reach Nagerjun, where the stunning views of the Lobuche East (6119 m), Kangtega (6685 m), the Toboche Peak (6367 m), Lobuche West (6145 m), the Thamserku (6608 m) and Mount Ama Dablam (6856 m) will mesmerize you.

    • Then, return to Dingboche.

  • Day 8- Dingboche - Lobuche expand_more
    • Leaving behind Dingboche, climb steeply up to Lobuche, passing a Chorten. You will also pass by Dugla, located at the tip of the Khumbu Glacier. With a vertical and small climb up, you will move to Chukpo Lari and see memorials put up in tribute to those who lost their lives in the Khumbu region. Also, the stunning vista of the huge mountains cannot be ignored.

    • With a trouble-free walk, finally reach Lobuche (4,910 m).

  • Day 9- Lobuche - Gorakshep - Everest Base Camp - Gorakshep expand_more
    • Departing from Lobuche, on this day, you will walk towards Gorakshep from Lobuche. This is an important day of the trek as you will be reaching the Everest Base Camp.

    • Upon reaching the foot of Mt. Everest, the views of Everest, Mahalangur, Khumbutse, Lingtren, Mt. Pumori, and Mt. Nuptse will enthral you. You will also walk further up to the top, passing the gush of Changri Glacier to get the sight of Kala Patthar, which translates to “Black Rock” in Nepali.

    • Walking further ahead, reach the Everest Base Camp, where you shall have an amazing time drowning ourselves in the majestic Sagarmatha!

    • Then, return to Gorakshep.

  • Day 10- Gorakshep - Kala Pathar - Gorakshep - Pheriche expand_more
    • Walk ahead from Gorakshep to Kala Patthar early in the morning to witness the magnificent view of the sunrise over Mt. Everest. Additionally, the spectacular views of Changtse, Nuptse, Lhotse and the others will be completely alluring. At Kala Patthar, you will also spend some rewarding time that will remain in your memories forever.

    • Then, walk down to Gorakshep, from where you will trek further to Pheriche.

  • Day 11- Pheriche - Namche expand_more
    • Walk back to Namche Bazaar which takes around 7 hours. Pass several ups and downs of the terrain on the way and also pass by hillsides brimming with juniper and rhododendron trees. Traversing over Dudh Koshi River by a bridge, you will descend to an area where you may come across the chance to sight wildlife like pheasants, mountains goats, and many others.

  • Day 12- Namche - Lukla expand_more
    • From Namche, walk downhill to travel along the Dudh Koshi River. Then, you will head to Monjo, where you need to accomplish the formalities at the check post of the Sagarmatha National Park at Monjo.

    • Subsequently, you will walk towards Phakding and continue walking to Lukla. In Lukla, you can relax and remember the awesome memories of trekking.

  • Day 13- Lukla - Kathmandu expand_more
    • Board a short and scenic flight, return from Lukla to Kathmandu. You will be transferred to the hotel upon landing at Tribhuwan International Airport.

  • Day 14- Departure expand_more
    • Transfer to the Tribhuwan International Airport before the time of your scheduled flight.

    • Depart for your home destination, and the tour ends.

Know before you go
  • Nepal Entry Visa: You can obtain a visa easily upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu. A multiple-entry tourist visa good for 30 days can be obtained by paying US$ 40 or equivalent foreign currency. Similarly, multiple-entry tourist visas for 90 days can be obtained by paying US$ 100. Please bring two copies of passport-size photos.
