  • Day 3: Lukla - Phakding expand_more
    • Begin the Everest Base Camp trek with a flight into the airstrip of Lukla (2804 m).

    • Trek for 3 hours to Phakdinga small town located by the river (2610 m).

  • Day 4: Namche Bazaar expand_more
    • Hike to Namche Bazaar (3441 m), a small town nestled on a hillside with major mountains all around and the trading hub of the region through Everest National Park.

  • Day 5: Acclimatization expand_more

    The day is mainly for acclimatization, but if you wish you can explore the area around.

  • Day 6: Tengboche Monastery expand_more
    • Trek to Tengboche Monastery (3860 m), a Tibetan Buddhist monastery of the Sherpa community. Situated at 3,867 metres, the monastery is the largest gompa in the Khumbu region of Nepal.

  • Day 7: Dingboche expand_more
    • Head to Dingboche (4350 m), a Sherpa village in the Khumbu region of northeastern Nepal in the Chukhung Valley.

  • Day 8: Acclimatization expand_more

    The day is mainly for acclimatization, but if you wish you can explore the area around.

  • Day 9: Trek to Lobuche expand_more
    • Proceed to Lobuche (4910 m), a small settlement near Mount Everest in the Khumbu region of Nepal.

  • Day 10: Everest Base Camp - Gorak Shep expand_more
    • Trek to South Everest Base Camp (5365 m).

    • Return to Gorak Shep (5180 m), a small settlement that sits on the edge of a frozen lakebed covered with sand in Nepal with the same name.

  • Day 11: Kala Patthar - Pheriche expand_more
    • Optional hike to Kala Patthar (5545 m) to see the sunrise and panoramic view of snow-capped peaks including of Everest.

    • Trek down to Pheriche (4200 m).

  • Day 12: Visit Phortse expand_more
    • Go to Phortse (3900 m), a farming village located in the Khumbu Valley in Nepal. It is off the main trekking circuit and therefore more resembles an authentic Sherpa village.

  • Day 13: Namche Bazaar expand_more
    • Trek back to Namche Bazaar (3441 m).

  • Day 14: Visit Phakding expand_more
    • Travel to Phakding (2610 m), a small village in the Khumbu region of Nepal and is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

  • Day 15: Trek to Lukla expand_more
    • Trek to Lukla (2804 m), a small town in the Khumbu Pasanglhamu rural municipality of the Solukhumbu District in Province No. 1 of north-eastern Nepal.

  • Day 16: Kathmandu expand_more
    • Fly back to Kathmandu in the morning and transfer to the hotel.

  • Day 17: Kathmandu (Optional) expand_more
    • Extra day in Kathmandu as a backup just in case of weather delays flight from Lukla.

  • Day 18: Departure expand_more
    • Transfer to the airport for a journey back home.
