13 Days Walking tour itinerary for nepal: Embark On A Coffee Farm Expedition
Explore the Nepali capital and find out about coffee production in Nepal by visiting coffee farms, interacting with local farmers, and touring the inside of some of the locals' houses to see what their daily lives look like. You will also be hiking to see see the Everest, Lhote, Makalu, Kanchenjunga, Cho Oyu, and other 7000 m mountains.
DAY 01
Arrive in Kathmandu
Arrive at Kathmandu International Airport and be welcomed by the local Nepali tour leader and check in to the hotel.
The rest of the day is free to explore this historic and vibrant city.

DAY 02
Sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley
After breakfast, depart the hotel for a full-day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu, the “City of Glory.”
Visit Durbar (Palace) Square, the epicentre of religious and cultural life, an area filled with old temples and historical significance with beautiful Newari architecture. Newari people were the first inhabitants of the Kathmandu valley. Some of the sights include Kal Bhairav, Hanuman Dhoka, Taleju Temple, Kasthamandap and Kumari Ghar; home to the Living Goddess.
Afterwards, visit Swayambhunath Stupa, said to be one of the oldest Buddhist stupas in the world, which is majestically overlooking Kathmandu Valley.
Proceed towards Pashupatinath Temple, a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. This massive temple complex sits alongside the banks of the holy Bagmati River. Only Hindus are allowed to enter the courtyard of the temple, but you will be able to see the temple from the eastern side of the Bagmati River.
Later visit Boudhanath, a Buddhist Stupa – one of the largest in the world! This massive structure stands tall with four pairs of eyes each facing the four cardinal directions, keeping a watchful eye on humankind.

DAY 03
The Famous Farm House
After breakfast, drive for approximately 4 hours to Nuwakot, an ancient citadel that has stood tall against changing times. One of Nepal’s best-kept secrets. A place of cultural and historical significance not many tourists know about. The Famous Farm House stands on a broad grassy terrace surrounded by trees, shrubs and flowers with paddocks, a small stable and a barn at the end. With an eagle’s eye view of the Nuwakot Durbar, this special farmhouse is a natural Shangri-La.

DAY 04
Explore Nuwakot and Drive to Nagarkot
After breakfast, you will explore Nuwakot by foot to visit organic coffee farms, interact with local farmers, and tour the inside of some of the locals' houses to see what their daily lives look like. Also, visit Nuwakot Palace which nestles near the Famous farm and is very famous. It is a magnificent historical structure that lies in this hilly region protected with all its splendour since ancient times.
Later, drive to Nagarkot and stay overnight in this mid-hill oasis overlooking the Himalayan Mountains.
DAY 05
Tour Coffee Farm – Trisuli River
After breakfast, you will go around to see the coffee farm.
Later in the afternoon, drive back to Kathmandu and stay overnight at hotel.
DAY 06
Chheskam and explore
Early morning, drive to Chheskam and stay overnight at the local team house 1600m.
DAY 07
Trek Mamerku and visit
Do a two hour trek to Mamerku and visit the Farmhouse to see the difference herbs being harvested and processed for extraction of some essential oils. Lunch, dinner and breakfast of local organic foods include local herbs and wild spices.

DAY 08
Trek Bukur and experience
Climb to Bukur with a cook, team and porters to 3200m.
Overnight at tent or local tea house.
DAY 09
Trek to see peaks of Everest and etc
After breakfast, climb little peak approximately 4500 m to see the Everest, Lhote, Makalu, Kanchenjunga, Cho Oyu, and other 7000 m mountains and trek back to Mamerku Farmhouse.
DAY 10
Explore different coffee farms
Drive back to Patale. During the drive, you will visit the different coffee farms and stay overnight at a tea house.
DAY 11
Journey back to Kathmandu
Start to drive back to Kathmandu by jeep and stay overnight at a hotel.
DAY 12
Free and Easy explore
Relax with a free day in Kathmandu; visit the agriculture site and coffee farm.
Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 13
end of tour
Finish the tour by letting the agent send you off to the airport. Hope you have a memorable visit to Nepal and see you soon.

Growing and producing coffee beans and is increasing gradually and this help in diversifying process thus increase the income of the farmers as well as other individuals involved in coffee processing and marketing enterprise.
