Visit the Jewish historical museum (the first synagogue with the recently discovered baths) and the 17th-century Portuguese synagogue (treasure chamber and oldest library included in the UNESCO’s memory of the world Register).

The visit to the museum and the Portuguese synagogue are not included. If you are planning to stay in the city 1,2 or 3 days you can save money in museums tickets with the Amsterdam city card. If not, the ticket to the Jewish museum cost 15 € for adults,3,75€ children 0-6 years old and 7,50€ children 13-17 years old.
Any trip to Amsterdam should include a visit to the Jewish Quarter. The history of the Low Countries is closely connected to the arrival of the Spanish-Portuguese Jewish after 1492 who were expulsed by the Catholic kings.
