Start with a short walking tour or get on a canal cruise boat. Admire the IJ river and the world-famous Canal Belt. Choose from the Jordaan neighbourhood or visit the oldest part of town built in the 13th Century. Stop at the Skinny Bridge on the Amstel river and have lunch at a restaurant of your choice. 

DAY 01

Amsterdam City tour

  • Meet and greet your Amsterdam tour guide at the Amsterdam Cruise Passenger Terminal and proceed with your tour.

    • Flea market (Monday to Saturday, except Dutch National Holidays).

    • Rembrandt's home and workshop.

    • Jordaan neighbourhood.

    • Take a picture in front of the Anne Frank house.

    • Red Light District. 

  • Choose from a restaurant on the Amstel river or a picturesque location in the Jordaan area or a hidden gem visited by locals to have your lunch depending upon what titillates your tastebuds the best. 

End your tour at the Amsterdam Cruise Passenger Terminal.

  • 750 USD Per Group (* Up to 8 people)
  • One Taxi ride from/to Cruise Passenger Terminal if needed

  • Hop-on hop-off canal cruise

  • 7 hours private city tour including personal assistance and services from a local Dutch tour guide.

  • At the end of the tour, the guide can accompany you to the Amsterdam Cruise Passenger Terminal.

  • This is a panoramic tour. If you are interested to enter a small museum, you need to pay an entrance fee and understand the original itinerary might need to be altered. Ticket prices range between 10 -18 Euros per person.

  • From 2020 passing by window brothels in the Red Light District is not allowed anymore.

  • Estimated local cash needed - 20 Euro -for lunch, depending on the type of lunch/snacks.

  • The local currency is the Euro, US dollars are not accepted. 

  • In shops and restaurants, you can use major credit cards, the cards need to have a chip.

  • If you bring your own water bottle your Amsterdam tour guide will show you where you can refill, drinking water is excellent in Amsterdam!

  • The tour guide does not own a car and offers tours only within the city of Amsterdam. The tour guide can accompany you on public transport. 

  • The tour guide does not provide guiding services inside museums.

    • In front of the IAmsterdam Visitor Information Center which is the white building opposite Amsterdam Central Railway Station. Address: Stationsplein 10, 1012 AB Amsterdam.  

    • Official taxis stop at the back of the central station.

  • Please inform the tour guide about your flight number/train arrival time if you arrive on the same day of your tour.
