Retrace various phases of Anne Frank

Anne Frank School

Amsterdam-Netherlands

Get to know how and where Anne Frank lived before going into hiding, and what happened to her after the arrest. Visit the neighbourhood where she lived, played, went to school, and also the place where she was brought when she was captured.

DAY 01

Amsterdam south

  • Do a short tram ride to the Anne Frank House.

  • Visit her home in the south of the city, and we will stand at the exact spots where some famous photos of her, her family and friends were taken. We will share these photos so you can find the precise location and make your own. We will see the homes of the other people in hiding, as well as Miep Gies', the most famous helper. We also will be at sites where terrible Razzia's took place, where Dutch resistance fighters fought back, and where other Jews were hiding.

  • Go to the German District, at the SD and SS headquarters and some infamous events leaving their mark on Amsterdam forever.

Either before or after your visit to the Anne Frank House, this is the perfect way to put her story into perspective, and learn what the occupation during WW2 in Amsterdam was like.

  • 90 USD Per Adult
  • Transport to or from the Anne Frank House to the main area we will be walking by tram.

  • If you want to know how and where Anne lived before going into hiding, and what happened to her after the arrest, this is the perfect tour. We will visit the neighbourhood where she lived, played and went to school, and where she was brought when captured. It looks almost exactly as in WW2, and many other events in the beautiful area tell the story of the Jews, Dutch and Germans in WW2. The not much visit part of Amsterdam is a must if you want to understand the story beyond the Secret Annex.
