- Drive from Leon to Las Penitas.
- Walk to the ranger station.
- From there, take a boat ride to Isla Juan Venado Nature Reserve and observe the sea birds, including grey heron and tricoloured heron.
- Head to Palo de Oro Project center, where the sea turtle nursery is set and take a walk around the nursery.
- By the sunset, release the baby turtles into the Pacific Ocean.
- After, releasing head back to Las Penitas via boat. Depart to Leon.
