Appreciate the natural wonders of this small-group tour to Batu Caves and the Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary. Marvel at limestone caves in Gombak, observe elephants and learn all about rehabilitation and relocation efforts at the Elephant Sanctuary.
National Elephant Conservation Centre - Kuala Gandah - Lanchang - Pahang
Depart from your hotel at 9.00 am.
First stop will be at Hot Spring. Enjoy natural hot spring surrounded by trees and frequented by locals (20 minutes to 30 minutes).
Stop at the iconic Batu Caves in Gombak.
Continue to Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary.
Begin with a 25-minute video documentary on the National Parks Elephant Relocation Team’s conservation activities and programs in an air-conditioned audio-visual theatre. The informative presentation allows us to have a better understanding of the work conducted at the center, the duty of the team’s trained elephants, and the responsibility of the rangers when they are out in the field conducting wild elephant relocations.
Take a walk to the elephant enclosure with Nature Guide where five rehabilitated elephants are kept. Learn about the important role the elephant sanctuary plays in ensuring the survival and well being of these majestic animals and observe the elephants as they're taken care of by professionals from the sanctuary.

Bathing young elephants. (This activity depends on weather and other circumstances. Limited to 100 people/day. Early registration is required for these activities.)
Air-conditioned vehicle with an English speaking Malaysian driver.
