Meet your tour guide at 7:00 AM at a pre-decided location in Kuala Lumpur and begin your journey to Penang Island. On the way, stop and relax at Ferringhi Beach. 

Visit a traditional fishing village and a batik textiles factory. Observe artisans shape wax and weave intricate patterns to create traditional Malaysian handicrafts.

Roam through a tropical fruit farm to learn about locally grown fruits and spices such as clove and nutmeg.

Explore one of the largest Chinese Buddhist temple complexes in Southeast Asia, Kek Lok Si Temple. The temple complex contains many pagodas, prayer halls and bell towers built in various styles. A bronze statue of the goddess of mercy, Guanyin, looks down from the hill above the pagoda.

Hop on the funicular railway that takes a beautiful route to ascend to the peak of Penang Hill (800 m). Disembark at the top for an incredible view of the surrounding islands and mainland.

When descending the hill, visit the Royal Selangor Visitor Centre and take a short lesson about crafting pewter. Learn 19th-century techniques for manipulating the versatile metal into a simple pewter bowl using basic hand tools.
