Chiché Itzá, Cobá The path of Fertility, Ballgame and Warfare, all explained in a single Myth... Popol-Vuh

  • This will be a journey through the most incredible myth of the Mayas, which describes the adventures of twin brothers facing the Gods of the Underworld. With this story, Mayans tell us how death, (as a Sacrifice) is actually an allegory to life. The art of Chichén Itzá/Cobá will explain to us how war, the ball game and the fertility ceremonies converge in two important sites of El Castillo and the Ballcourt. Mayan´s iconography will take us by the hand to explain to us their Cosmovision.
