A Day In Teotihuacán expand_more
- Meet the tour guide at your hotel in Mexico at 7:30 am.
- Start the tour by visiting the archaeological zone of Teotihuacan. Visit the most important metropolis of the Mesoamerican Classic and the first Quetzalcoatl temple.
- Explore the Great Pyramid of the Sun.
- Walk along the main avenue of these ruins, the street of the dead, where you will see temples and murals about 2000 years old. This same road will take you to the Plaza de la Luna, where you can climb the Pyramid of the Moon.
- Head to the Courtyard of the Jaguars and the Temple of Quetzalpapalotl.
- Stop at a workshop and see all locals at work with cactus, stones and fibres. (Optional)
- Taste the traditional Mexican beverage "Pulque".
- Take a lunch break.
- Visit the mini convent of San Nicolas Oxtotipac and the huge convent of San Agustin Acolman.
- Return to the hotel at the end.
