Begin at the Guadalajara's Historic Center. It consists of buildings, monuments, plazas and parks and carries a past of more than 4 centuries of history including Colonial architecture, neoclassical, baroque and also Gothic styles.
Visit the Government Palace, Guadalajara Cathedral, City Hall, Teatro Degollado (theatre), Church of St. Augustine, Church of Santa Maria de Gracia and Cabañas Cultural Institute (Heritage site) which features several frescos.
Go to the Plaza Tapatía, a monumental square that stretches from Teatro Degollado to the Instituto Cabañas. This square is about 70,000 square meters and houses several attractions, including fountains and sculptures.
