    • Have breakfast at your hotel in Mandalay and set out on a drive to Sagaing, which is the site of hundreds of monasteries, nunneries and meditation centres.

    • Cross the Yadanabon Bridge on the way and see the old bridge built by the British for trading with China running parallel to the new one.

    • Arrive on top of the Sagaing Hill from where you can see the confluence of two rivers.

    • Visit Soon-Oo-Pone-Nyar-Shin Pagoda and U Min-Thone-Sel pagoda with your Burmese tour guide.

    • Proceed to Mingun, which was named after the King of Bodawphaya who personally supervised the construction of its monuments. Visit the miniature stupa of Pahtotawgyi and the Settawyar Pagoda on the banks of the river, which was moved from Amarapura to the present site by King Bodawpaya. Also visit the house for old people and see the Mingun Bell which is the largest functioning bronze-cast bell in the world weighing over 90 tons.

    • Visit the memorial hall of Mingun Sayadaw and Mya Thein Dan Pagoda. Walk around the village to see local life and rural atmosphere.

    • Drive to a small jetty and board a ferry to Ava.

    • Enjoy a fun horse-cart ride at Inwa, the ancient capital of Myanmar, and head to the Bagaya Monastery which is built with large teak woods with intricate carvings on it

    • Head to the Nanmyint watchtower and visit 'Maha Aung Myay Bones', a brick-made monastery and an example of the finest architectural religious monument of Inwa era.

    • Watch a beautiful sunset over the world's longest teak-made bridge, the U-Bein.
