Description

Take a boat to Mingun and visit an unfinished Stupa, see the third largest bell in the world, and pay your respects at the Mya Thein Than pagoda. Return to Mandalay and visit the only Royal Palace of Myanmar, explore the majestic Golden Palace Monastery, the magnificent Kuthodaw pagoda and take in the panoramic views from Mandalay Hill.

    • Get a pick up at the hotel and leave at 08:30 am for Mandalay jetty.

    • Take the boat to Mingun (about one hour) with your Mingun tour guide.

    • Take photos of the river where fishers and agricultural people live.

    • Visit Mingun and see landmarks such as the Unfinished Stupa, Big Bell (90 tons), two big lions statues and Mya Thein Than Phaya.

    • Return to the jetty and take the same boat to Mandalay (about 40 minutes).

    • Have food at a local restaurant.

    • Visit Mandalay Royal Palace (the last palace of Myanmar Kingdom) with your Mandalay tour guide.

    • Proceed to the Golden Palace Monastery (original Royal building from the palace).

    • Continue to Kuthodaw (the biggest book in the world by UNESCO).

    • Finally, visit Mandalay Hill for a panoramic view and a blissful sunset.

    • Return to the hotel.
