Kalaw is an enchanting hill station that reflects the beauty of old British villas. It is mostly known as the starting point for a breathtaking trek to Inle Lake, but it has more than that to offer. Undoubtedly, Kalaw is one of the premier destinations to soak up the magnificent mountains and lush valleys. Explore the mountainside of Kalaw by trekking across, interact with the indigenous people residing there and enjoy a traditional music and dance performance by them. Have lunch with a gorgeous lakeside view and return to the hotel via boat.

Day 1: Explore Kalaw expand_more
Leave the hotel (Kalaw) at 9 AM.
Take a 3 hour morning walk passing by the local villages, followed by a lunch break in the village and some rest.
For the rest of the afternoon, explore the local villages.
At the fifth village, there will be a stopover at a Monastery.
End this day with dinner, accompanied by traditional music and dance performance by the people living in the mountains.

Day 2: Trek to Inle lake expand_more
Begin the trek at 9 AM after breakfast.
Trek to the mountain ranges where we observe the lifestyles of the ethnic group of people residing in the mountain areas.
Explore the varied cultivation that grows here, such as chillies, potato, sunflower, tea, and rice fields. One can also see animals here, such as buffalos, oxen, cows, etc.
Arrive at the Inle Lake by 12 noon, enjoy the scenic views here and take a break for lunch.
Finally, return to the hotel by boat.
