Embark on a historical trip to see the well known Buddhist site of Kyaiktiyo Pagoda, also known as Golden Rock. This pagoda is 7.3 m high, built on top of a granite boulder. Legend has it that this Golden Rock is actually perched on a strand of the Buddha's hair.

Bago, Yangon & Kyaiktiyo Tour expand_more
Pick up at 6 a.m from your hotel at Yangon. Have breakfast at Bago town.
Arrive at Kinpum Cap at around 11 AM. Here, take a shared truck to the top of the mountain ( one hour drive) to see Kyaiktiyo Pagoda (or Golden Rock). Stay here for an hour or so. After that, get down in a shared truck till Kinpum camp for lunch break.
Stop at Bago to see the Four Sitting Buddha statue from outside, also behold the Htauk Kyant War Cemetery.
Head back to Yangon at around 6 PM.
