  • Day 1: Tour of Bagan expand_more
    • Pick up your hotel by your Burmese tour guide and the journey begins with a visit to a local colourful market where you can learn about the local life of the area.

    • Continue your journey with a visit to the golden stupa of Shwezigon Pagoda for an introduction to Bagan's rich history, the Wetkyi-In Gyubyaukgyi Temple with exquisite Jataka mural paintings and the elegant Htilominlo Temple.

    • Enjoy lunch at the restaurant and transfer to your hotel to reload. This afternoon begins with a visit to the Ananda Temple, an architectural masterpiece which is one of the Bagan's most beautiful temples.

    • Continue to visit Thatbyinnyu Temple, which is the highest temple in Bagan, the massive Dhammayangyi Temple, noted for its remarkable brickwork.

    • Continue to an elevated viewpoint to watch an unforgettable sunset over the plains before returning to the hotel at the Nyaung La Phet Hill or temple or viewing tower.

  • Day 2: Minnanthu village & temples expand_more
    • Visit the rural village of Minnanthu, where you can see cotton weaving and harvesting the crops in their field.

    • Continue to visit other famous temples of Bagan such as Laymyathnar Monastery Complex, Phyathonsu, Nandamannya for its mural paintings from the 13th century.

    • Have lunch at one of the local restaurants and return to the hotel for a few hours to enjoy swimming at the hotel.

    • Later, in the afternoon, your journey continues to Manuha Temple for it's huge Buddha images, Nanpaya Temple (built with sandstone) and the Gyubyaukgyi Temple (Myinkaba) where you can see colourful mural paintings from the old Bagan period. If you prefer to visit Lacquer ware workshops, you will be assisted to reach the right place.

    • In the evening, watch a beautiful sunset and return to the hotel.
