  • Day 1- Antananarivo to Antsirabe expand_more
    • Drive to Antsirabe, the capital city of the Vakinankaratra region in the central highlands of Madagascar  
    • Stop in Ambatolampy to visit the alminium foundery
    • Visit the Zebu horns and the tiny toys workshops in Antsirabe
    • visit the mineral market in Antsirabe
    • City tour by rickshaw in Antsirabe to see the old cathedral, post office, old railway station and the local market
  • Day 3- Antsirabe to Morondava expand_more


    • Direct drive to Morondava, the gateway to the Avenue of the Baobabs, where massive baobab trees tower over the landscape.

    • Pass by Miandrivazo where the boat trip to Belo sur Tsiribihina is used to depart

    • Discover the wonderful landscape through the highlands of Madagascar.

    • Overnight stay at Morondava

  • Day 4-Morondav to Bekopaka (TSINGY NP) expand_more
    • Transfer to Bekopaka village by private car to reach the Tsingy de Bemaraha National park, a national park located in Melaky Region, northwest Madagascar. The national park centres on two geological formations: the Great Tsingy and the Little Tsingy.
    • Board two ferry boats in succession and pass by Belo/Tsiribihina city.
    • Overnight stay at Bekopaka (B&B).


  • Day 5- Little Tsingy visit and canoeing on the gorge of Manambolo river expand_more
    • After breakfast, drive to the park office and start the daily activity in the park

    • Riding a canoe and go on to visit  the gorge of Manambolo river. See the cave, stalactites, stalagmites formations and the famous family tomb of the Vazimba (who lived in the Tsingy area during the 17th century). 

    • After the canoeing, hike through the litlle tsingy and admire  a labyrinth of limestone caves . 

    • The hike directs you to the highest point of the little Tsingy to see the panoramic view of this amazing formation.
    • After the hike, drive back to your Hotel for lunch
    •  Visit the village of Bekopaka to see the population daily activities and to learn how the remote village life style in Madagascar. 
    • Late in the afternoon, walk back to your Hotel
    • Overnight stay at Bekopaka (B&B).

  • Day 6- Visit the Big Tsingy expand_more
    • Early breakfast in the morning
    • After breakfast, drive to the big Tsingy
    • The big tsingy gate is located at 15km from your Hotel and the drive duration lasts 1 hour over the dirt road.
    • Visit the Grand Tsingy (Big Tsingy). Trek and hike in the infinite Grand Tsingy. Come across a cathedral of rocks, 30 m of high cracks, lemurs and birds, and the view of the high roof of the Big Tsingy. The Great Tsingy and Little Tsingy are basically two geological formations in the Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park area. 
    • The trek through the Tsingy lasts 4 to 5 hours. You need to be strong and fit enough to climb and down the limestones hills. 
    • After the trek, you will drive back to your Hotel
    • Bringing some snacks is very recommended when you trek through the big Tsingy to help your stomac  
    • Hard shoes are mandatory, cream solar can help you fom the sun hit.
    • After the trek, you drive back to your Hotel and having lunch. Usually, the visitors have lunch very late, approximately at 2:00 even 3:00pm
    • Overnight stay at Bekopaka (B&B).


  • Day 7- Bekopaka to Morondava expand_more
    • After the breakfast, we drive back to Morondava
    • Stop again in Belo city for lunch
    • Board two ferry boats again on the way back to Morondava
    • Visit at the unique baobab in love and click pictures of it
    • Stop by at the famous avenue of baobab to admire the sunset and having lots of pictures of it.
    • Late in the afternoon, slowly drive to Morondava. Usually, visitors arrive in Morondava around 7:00pm
  • Day 8- A full day activity in Morondava expand_more
    •  Beach 

    • Kimony reserve to see more animals such lemurs, crocodiles, tortoises, wild pig, Eagle fisher...etc

  • Day -9 Morondava to Antananarivo expand_more
    • Transfer to the airport in Morondava from your Hotel
    • Fly to Antananarivo from Morondava
    • Transfer from the airport in Antananarivo to your Hotel in Antananarivo

What to bring

Depending on the season, 

During the dry season from  August to December, you need to bring light clothing

During the rainy season from December to March, you need to bring raincoat

During the winter, from April to July, you need to bring warm clothing.


Through all seasons, you have to wear hard shoes while trekking, especially when you trek through Tsingy National park   


Do not forget to bring your cream solar, mosquito repellent and flash light. Sometimes, the power does not work 24/7 in the country side of Madagascar. 


Know before you go
  • Hiring a local guide is mandatory when you visit any park in Madagascar
  • If you bring USD bill, make sure that the bill is issued after 2010. In Madagascar, no money changer company  accepts the USD bll issued before 2010
  • The park is a high spot of endemism and diversity. 11 species of lemurs are listed from there, along with five families of bats, and 103 species of birds. The index of the reptiles and amphibians is large since Bemaraha possesses 34 species of these that are endemic.
  • Wearing face mask is still mandatory when in a crowded and coffined place
  • Covid-19 Vaccin pass is required at the airport
