Travel through three provinces; Antananarivo, Fianarantsoa and Toliary, famous for their national parks. Hike through the natural landscapes to visit unique sights such as baobab forests, different species of lemurs, Isalo window and natural swimming pools. Understand the local culture at the Malgasy alcohol factory, wood work and assorted craftsman workshops at its villages.

Day 1: Travel from Antananarivo to Atsirabe expand_more
- Begin the day by visiting the Zoological and Botanical National Park in Tsimbazaza.
- In the afternoon, drive to Antsirabe and stay there overnight.

Day 2: Head to Ambalavao city expand_more
- Today, we will visit the craftsmen workshop, and the woodworks arts shop in Ambositra. When we arrive in Ambalavao in the afternoon, we will still have some activities like silk workshop andtraditional paper workshop visits and then if you like wine, I will be glad to take you to the local wine store. Ambalavao is well known as Madagascar first local wine producer

Day 3: Visit Anja Park and head to Ranohira expand_more
- Visit the Anja Park, known for its rocky landscape filled with fallen rocks and boulders. This reserve has much-sheltered habitats. It also has the highest concentration of maki (ring-tailed lemurs) in all of Madagascar.

Day 4: Explore Isalo National Park expand_more
- Hike and trek through Isalo National Park to see makis, the Natural Swimming Pool, the rock formation known as the 'Queen of Isalo National Park', and the famous Isalo Window.

Day 5: Isalo National park ( Ranohira) to Ifaty expand_more
- Today, we will visit the sapphire mining site in Ilakaka on the road side
- Then see how Malagasy alcohol is traditionally produced in Sakaraha
Overnight stay in Ifaty/Mangily (B&B).

Day 6: Tour of Ifaty and Mangily expand_more
- Visit the Turtle's village, Baobab forest park and engage in many activities like surfing and diving.
- Apart from seeing the wonderful beaches in Ifaty and Mangily, you can also participate in whale watching that is best done between June and September.

- On the last day of the tour, head back to Antananarivo via Toliara.

What to bring
Please bring the following items during the tour:
Depending on the season,
During the dry season from August to December, you need to bring light clothing
During the rainy season from December to March, you need to bring raincoat
During the winter, from April to July, you need to bring warm clothing.
Through all seasons, you have to wear an hard shoes while trekking in Isalo National park
Do not forget to bring your cream solar, mosquitos repellent and flash light. Some times, the power does not work 24/7 in the coutnry side of Madagascar.
Know before you go
- In Madagascar, the southwest is the most visited area. Since the road facilities make the tour easy and feasible all the seasons (from January to December), you will see how nice the people in those three different provinces are. You are always welcomed wherever you are and whoever you meet over Madagascar Island.
- Hiring a local guide is mandatory when you visit any park in Madagascar
- If you bring USD bill, make sure that the bill is issued after 2010. In Madagascar, no money changer company accepts the USD bll issued before 2010
- Wearing face mask is still mandatory when in a crowded and coffined place
- Covid-19 Vaccin pass is required at the airport
