The Republic of Moldova has obtained the title of “country with open doors in the paradise of wine” because wine production is the basic occupation of Moldavians. "History footprints" are felt everywhere.

 In 1952, founded one of the most fascinating wonders of the world - Cricova cellars. They are situated under of the small Cricova town and those cellars create a truly real underground city. The basements were formed after limestone extraction from the mines. Later, from cellars winemakers formed avenues and streets with wine which are stored in the surrounding niches: Cabernet, Aligote, Sauvignon, etc are the names of the streets and avenues. These avenues and streets have a length of 120 km in total. The constant temperature is about 12 C degrees and humidity that does not exceed 97-98% - are the most favorable conditions for the storage of 30 million l of quality wine. Today, the wooden gate of Cricova winery is open to everyone. You have an undeniable chance to penetrate into the mysterious winemaking process and to taste the best quality Moldovan wines.

After the excursion at the winery, our guests will enjoy the city tour excursion in Chisinau – the capital of the Republic of Moldova, a modern economic and cultural center. Chisinau, like Rome, is spread out over seven hills. Its population is about 730,000 residents of different nationalities. The first mentioning about the city, we find in 1436 in the charter of Moldovan magistrates Ilyash I. On the right bank of the river Byk arose the settlement, which gradually rose up above the slope.

The architecture of the historical center is perfectly combined with the new post-war buildings on the main streets. On whole neighborhoods, administrative building’s facade is decorated with stone carvings and colored ceramics. The city acquired a modern view of the capital. In the center of town at the entrance of the oldest park, there is erected the monument of the Moldovan ruler Stefan cel Mare si Sfint. In 1885, this park unveiled the monument to Alexander Pushkin.

The residents of the capital treat with due care on the military past. In honor of the 30th anniversary of the Second War Victory in 1975, the Memorial of Military Glory "Eternity" was built. Every year, on May 9 to the memorial come hundreds of thousands of residents and guests to pay tribute to those who died.

Every year in Chisinaum, the following are held: Folklore Music Festival "Martisor", an international festival of opera and ballet "Invite Maria Biesu", the festival of jazz bands "Ethno-Jazz", "National Day of Wine" and " City Day ". The wonderful stories and legends of our region, historical and ethnographic museums, art galleries and exhibitions, national celebrations and colorful fairs are offered.
